Cake It Easy

Hey all! More often than not, we tend to pile more on our plates than we can handle. This has definitely been one of those weeks. Due to that, I unfortunately did not have the time or mental capacity to try out a new baking technique, especially with school assignments and work schedule taking up most of my week. However, do not worry, I still included some pics of one of my more recent bakes. This was a number "8" mini cake that I made for my little cousin's birthday a few weeks ago. His only demands were that the cake was to be blue and emphasized the fact that he was turning 8 years old. Thus, this cake was born. I decorated it with some blue and white buttercream, cakesicles, candies, chocolates, and sprinkles. Until next time, xoxo Perry

Hey all! This week is a very busy one for me as I have a lot on my plate in my oven, mostly just figuratively. So, I will be back next week with an actual cake blog post. Hey all! Welcome to my new blog that will focus on something that I have been passionate about since I was 13-years-old: cake decorating ! Cake decorating and baking have been hobbies of mine for quite some time, but I always kept them on the back burner while I focused on school. Last year, however, I had the opportunity to finally turn these hobbies into a small business. On January 16, 2020 I shared my small business with the world and began taking orders from people who weren't my immediate friends or family. This past year has been crazy with the amount of support I received and how many challenges I faced, especially in terms of scheduling and growth. It has been hard trying to figure out which route I wish to take this blog, but I have finally decided to merge two of my bigger ideas: learning new techniques of cake decorating that I have been hesitant to try in the past for fear of failure, and learning how to schedule time to take my small business to the next step t...
